Book Review for Indigo Blue: Indigo Blue is a dramatic book written by Cathy Cassidy. This novel is about a girl named Indigo who has to move into a damp, old house because her mom is getting physically abused by her ex-boyfriend. On top of all that she has to deal with friendship problems at school. Cathy Cassidy has written a realistic novel that is full of suspense. Indigo Blue is an engaging novel because the events seem like they can happen to anyone. For instance, when Indigo's friend had a fight with her. Or when Indigo had to move because of problems concerning her mom. When you read an event that can really happen you'll want to keep reading. You'll be amazed at how realistic the events are. Page turners are entertaining to read. Indigo Blue is a page turner. It made me want to keep reading so I could see what would happen. For example when Indigo's mom was trying to hide from her ex-boyfriend I wondered why. The suspense in this novel left me itching to read more. In conclusion I would recommend this book to people who like realistic-fiction. Indigo Blue is a book that makes life understandable and a book that's interesting. Indigo Blue is a wonderful book to read.
