Yuck: This is the second book in the series dealing with the adventures of Captain Harry Cathcart and Lady Rose Summer. Overall, I'd say this book is worse than the first one, which I thought was pretty bad. The characters are like cardboard cutouts being pushed in and out of contrived situations, speaking from a horribly stilted and blunt script. And subjects such as farting, constipation and laxatives are NOT what I expected when I picked up this book - it's just unnecessarily crude. If you're looking for a romance/mystery set in Edwardian times, look elsewhere.
