Best way to learn and improve your OSX/UNIX skills: I heartily recommend Adrian Mayo's excellent "Mac OS X Unix 101 Byte-Sized Projects". It is geared towards beginners and advanced users looking to improve their Terminal (and BASH) productivity. It never hurts to go back to basics, and I learned something new everytime I opened this book up. My fav tip is "control - r" in BASH shell for searching through all your previous commands. A real time saver. It's the best book I've read since starting out with UNIX for dummies 15 years ago. If you're writing shell scripts this is the reference guide you'll actually read.
