Well written, good advice for younger children: A very concise and easy to read book which covers the basics of establishing effective discipline. It is specifically written for parents of young children up to the age of six. It answers so many of the common questions regarding discipline that parents have, and lists several common parenting traps. Advice is given to prevent discipline problems from manifesting and gives specific advice for many of the common discipline situations. The book probably the most organized parening book I have read so far, which makes it a good quick reference. If you are looking for an honest user friendly discipline book which is not overly indepth, this is a good choice. If you want more specific information on establishing effective discipline, I would highly recommend, "Setting Limits: How to Raise Responsible, Independent Children by Providing CLEAR Boundaries" by Robert J MacKenzie.
