A fun and light read ........: Getting It Good! by Rhonda Nelson Harlequin Blaze # 172 - February 2005 Chicks In Charge series Book 2 of 4 Frankie Salvaterra and Ross Hartford know each other because Ross' best friend and boss is married to Frankie's best friend and business partner. And from their first meeting the chemistry zinged between them, but Frankie used her sarcastic tongue to keep Ross at a distance. Zora's been trying to find a way to get Frankie and Ross together, and when an opportunity falls into her lap she pulls out all the stops. Suddenly Frankie and Ross find themselves touring the US to promote the print version of Chicks In Charge's highly successful ezine CHiC. Frankie aka Carnal Contessa is the magazine's sexpert. Ross has been manipulated into being the Duke of Desire. They are a huge success when during a question and answer session, Ross demonstrates the proper way to kiss a woman, of course, and this means he has to kiss Frankie. Their attraction reaches near boiling. And when the next city's hotel doesn't have the standard two-bedroom suite but instead a single room with a king size bed and Jacuzzi, Frankie finally acknowledges that she's been royally set up. What happens when Frankie decides if you can't fight 'em, you should join 'em? This one dragged a bit at the beginning. Frankie and Ross are both great characters and are obviously made for each other. But for some reason I just didn't feel their chemistry and tension until half way through the book. Frankie needs to know she can trust Ross and Ross needs to get over his commitment phobia. The loves scenes were well done and appropriate to the story. It was fun watching them finally hook up and make the leap. :D Chicks in Charges series Getting It! - Harlequin Temptation # 1007 - January 2005 Getting It Good! - Harlequin Blaze # 172 - February 2005 Getting It Right! - Harlequin Blaze # 217 - November 2005 Getting It Now! - Harlequin Blaze # 223 - December 2005
