This "PENTAGON" Gets 5 Stars: In this mystery Frank and Joe are asked to investigate a weather vane theft ring as well as help their father out in his investigation with the Pentagon. First Frank and Joe travel to Pennslyvania omish country to try and figure out whose being stealing valuable weathervanes off the top of barns as well as their hex signs. It turns out that these weathervanes are of vital importance with the mennonites or omish as some people call them. Each barn is also marked with a different hex sign of some sort. These hex signs are to ward off danger from those who use hexes. The hex signs can be applied to focus uncanny forces from the people who use them too! Eventually their trail leads them to Chesapeake Crossing, Maryland. When they get there they hook up with their father and help him solve his case involving Clifford Hunter who the Pentagon believes is a spy and is selling a top secret navy document to foreign powers for money. He has all of a sudden disappeared and the Hardys need to find him to discover the truth. This book had great flow from start to finish. It had good suspense as well. This book is indeed worth reading. It is also now available in the hardcover like that of the original Hardy books which is awesome.
