These books were written a while ago and I'm thankful that Signet has reissued them, making them much more available and making it possible for me to now own a copy. These regencies are very well written, with lovely, spirited heroines and suitably rakish heroes that are worthy of them. She balances the characters' stories beautifully, writing from both hero and heroines' perspectives and creates believable characters that come alive. Sandalwood Princess is the story of Amanda, who upon returning from India, is pursued by a handsome thief determined to steal a gift bestowed upon her by an Indian Princess. Knaves' Wager is the story of Lillith who has made the wise decision of marrying a well-off gentleman when a "knave" who has made a bet comes along to throw her off kilter.
