A very good new book:
(By the way, this book is by J. Dennis Thomas and not Kevin Moss as advertized on Amazon.ca) If you own a Nikon SB-800 or SB-600 speedlight and one of Nikon's newest D-SLR cameras, then you can use the Creative Lighting System (CLS) which has revolutionized wireless flash photography, and this book is for you. The book is very well-organized and fully illustrated in colour throughout. It completely covers the CLS as well as the two speedlight units above and others. It also covers setting up a wireless studio, real-world applications and simple posing for portraits. I made the mistake of previously buying the Magic Lantern Guide "Nikon-AF Speedlight flash system, which is only a catalogue of the various speedlight units and a repetition of their manuals with very poor illustrations. The book I really wanted is the one Dennis Thomas has just produced and I recommend it very highly!

the previous reviewer pretty much covered my thoughts completely. A very informative and well laid out book on Nikon SB600s and SB800s. It's so nice when you find a book that gives you a wealth of information on general lighting technique yet specific to the product you own.
