Well written book. Excellent intro to VLSI design.: Currently using this book for a class in VLSI design. Book is well written and easy to read. Stress fundamentals and design concepts. Highly recommended!
Use as Intro to VLSI Design textbook: This is the best book that I have found on VLSI Design for beginners because it stresses the importance of the fundamentals as opposed to the answers. Although books by Rabaey and Weste are great books, this book is far superior for people interested in designing static and dynamic CMOS circuits correctly. I use the book in an Introduction to VLSI System Design class although the price is somewhat high. The only thing I wish it had was more on the standard cell design. Since standard cell design is part of the VLSI design process. All things being said, this is still a fantastic book! It should be applauded!
The BEST Book for Introduction: This is the best book I have seen for the intoduciton to this subject , though I have tried to read a lot other books on the subject but this is the most easiest , intutive to follow. For comparision I would compare it with Weste's and Rabaey's Books Though those books are good But this is the best book, I would Highly recomend it to any one majoring in VLSI or semiconductors or for ppl who are interested in desing ICs
Excellent!!!: This book is very well written and easy to understand. The author did an excellent job organizing the topics and explaining the key points thoroughly.
