Don't waste your money or time!: Given the title of this book, it's ironic that it is so shambolic. The whole thing is a bit of a mishmash with gobbledegook such as "Look to the extranet market of linkages to find new ways to use shorter fiction and drama scripts to fill up the lockout zones..."(p.400). The title is misleading as well: the first half of the book is about using video with a PC link to make money, the second half is about using the web. But in both cases, the ideas are simplistic, and underestimate the difficulties while overestimating the resources available to many people. I bought this blind, since no table of contents or extracts were available. I will definitely be reselling it second-hand ASAP. For a much better book at less than half the price, try "The Well-Fed Writer" by Peter Bowerman.
Best Award-Winning Book I've Read on Online Homebased Biz: This is the best award-winning book that I've ever read on how to start more than two dozen online homebased businesses on a small budget and how to run these businesses. The book tells me the target market, who the intended audience or consumers are, where the best locations to open a business are, and at home online means everywhere you can connect. It tells me how much I could expect to make and gives me every resource current and appropriate for more help. This book is about the best I can find on resources and applications of new creative innovations on how to start and run online homebased businesses in businesses few have thought of that are right under one's nose. The resources are current and terrific, and the cost of operating these online homebased businesses are perfect for anyone who wants to work part time or full time at any age on any budget. It's full of practical applications of creative ideas and business strategies and resources. I highly recommend this and all other books by popular-selling author, Anne Hart.
