great work for an amateur writer: Unlike the prior review, I thought the book was written with emotion, and a sincere knowledge of the pain of those who were lost and families. I know one of those families, and they are so amazed at looking at the side of a survivor. Secondly this book was written as a healing tool for the author. Who are you to assume she will make any money from it. The book is an inspiration to all who ever knew fear, to those who now know what living in fear is about and to help remind us as Americans that we better never forget the true pain of September 11th. My advice to the person who would not let their children or grandchildren read this book, you are either blind and did not read a word of it, or that of a close-minded person with little compassion. Where were you on September 11th?
What is a true hero?: The true essence of heroism does not live in this author. True heroism was manifested in those who lost their lives due to 9-11, and those who devoted their own lives to protecting ours BEFORE THE ONSET OF 9-11. This book is preposteriously filled with distasteful drama which demonstrates someone's motives for capitalizing off the conscious pain and suffering of those who were lost as a result of the tragedy. Namarato contradicts herself in this pseudo "National Enquirer" like literature which she portrays as "fact". Similar to the firefighter commander's book, which for similar misrepresentation, was shreaded to pieces in the New York Daily News, this book was a fantasy for the author to capitalize off this country's great tragedy. She portrays herself to be a "victim"? This whole country was victimized. Furthermore, the segments referring to the "personal aspects" of her life, work, etc., does not inspire our country to find solutions to this widespread terrorism. Instead, she instilled her own terror which she lives with day to day in this book and further, failed to alleviate the terror in those who have either lost loved ones or those who have lost everything they built for themselves in this country due to 9-11. The idea behind this book is equivalent to vendors selling pictures of the World-Trade on the corner of Cortlandt Street, NY. This is not literature that I would encourage my children, nor my grandchildren, to read. Kudoos to Namorato, the "Joan Collins" of 9-11.
