A Rock Star That Actually Writes Decent Poetry: Gordon Downie's book Coke Machine Glow is a comprensive look at poetry told though the mind of a successful musician who is the lead singer to the popular candian band The Tragically Hip. His poetry reflects his experiences and his ability to truly make poetic "deep" pharses. The content is excellent and the drastically different lenghts from one poem to another really adds to the enjoyment of the book. If you enjoy peotry that is more subjective and less strait forward you will enjoy this book.
