My new favorite gardening book.:
I bought this book from a "bargain bin", even though I don't garden in Zone 2 to 4. The book is extremely well organized with listings of trees, shrubs and groundcovers for a particular situation: zone, full sun, soil type, slopes, small spaces, slow and fast growing, seasonal characteristics, and more categories. There are complete descriptions of the plants, and many tips for planning, planting, maintenance, and more. There are so many variables with gardening as it is - it is very nice not to have to worry about the climate you are gardening in! I am ordering the book for my zone today!
