[.ca] Human Body Book (ISBN 0756628652)

Incredibly worthwhile choice to learn about the human anatomy:
I didn't buy this book at amazon, which is sad because I would have saved a fair amount of money but WOW, was it ever a good book. The books describes all of the body's systems using simple language that anyone even someone without any background in science or biology could understand. The illustrations are beautiful computer graphics which are so visually stimulating and enticing they make you want to learn more about the body. It contains highly informative descriptions of the diseases and ailments which each system it describes may fall subject to which allow the reader to understand the fallibility and weaknesses some face. It comes with a cool graphics CD allowing someone to browse over images of the systems and even see videos describing some of the major functions of the system. It's a big book and I would recommend reading it on a table on which you could rest it but it needs that space for all the cool facts it contains. I have learnt so much from reading this book, its incredible. I understand a lot more about what I'm like on the inside (if you know what I mean ha-ha) and can't wait to reread it to go over and consolidate all the new things that I now know. If you want a book that will teach you all about your systems and the illnesses / conditions some people face, look no further! I am 110% happy with this book and though I paid 20 bucks more than amazon is discounting it to readers for I firmly believe every penny was worth it twice over. It's a beautiful book and so long as your not a doctor, the ONLY book you'll EVER need on the human body! Sweet Reading!
