Recommend!: Had a lot on the history of the Mach 1, many details that are harder to find, which is what I was looking for, in addition to a great overall history of the Mustang. Lots of great photos of all the various models during this time period.
Pictures vs. Content: Since there are so many books covering this subject, it's probably difficult to truly stand out while re-telling this familiar story. Given that, the author must resort to including some fine photographs - which he does amply - to make this book unique. While nothing new or extraordianry for well-read enthusiasts, it's a great first purchase for someone new to the subject. For a much more substantial book by the same author, see "Motor City Muscle."
