silly book: The only value i see in this book is perhaps using its pages for toilet paper. The author is not clever or witty just dumb.
save your money: This book is silly and offensive.Even as a woman,I found it to be too prejudicial toward men to be funny.Books like this just widen the divide between the sexes. And dont tell me to lighten up and have a sense of humor, because i have as much a sense of humor as anyone. But this book and others by the author have little to do with light-hearted humor, and more to do with hating and degrading men and inspiring her readers to do the same.Is that what we need in a society where the sexes are feeling increasingly alienated from one another? I think not.A man could never get away with writing books like this about women, and a woman shouldnt be allowed to get away with it either.I like men and want to go on liking them,so i wont read anymore books like these.
girls will be girls: This book is a typical example of female one-sidedness.Its written from only a womans perspective, completely ignoring the fact that "girls" can be a problem for men.Women dont handle relationships any better, and women can be just as frustrating to we men.Women live with the delusion that they are better and that theyre the only ones that have to struggle or put up with an impossible partner. If men should be treated like "boys",then women should be likewise treated like "girls." Believe me,girl behavior is just as exasperating and ludicrous to we men. These child psychology techniques should certainly be employed by men on the "girls" they date.
Hilarious book with some good insights: Some guys might be offended by this book, but if you're a woman, you could pick up a few tips in dealing with your significant other. Despite the title and pictures, and the fact that it looks like a children's book, the book does offer some valid insights into the male animal. I have a couple of other books by Karen Salmansohn and really appreciate her sense of humor.
Fun for Psych Majors !!: Well, I was a psych major in college, and now a single working woman in a big city. I laughed (better than crying) my way through the "23 Child Psychology Techniques to Use on Boys of All Ages." I used to do babysitting during college, but I've had enough of that. Very entertaining and real, this book.
