[.ca] 97 Ways to Make a Dog Smile (ISBN 0761129030)

You've GOT to be KIDDING!:
WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! Info in this book is so elementary that I'm not sure whether I'm more embarrassed or angry to have paid money for it and the publisher & author should be ashamed to accept money for it. If someone has a dog & doesn't know to rub him, play ball with her, talk silly to him, then this book is needed. But, those who care about their dog are already doing what's suggested in this book. Those who don't care won't be interested in any dog books. So, the book must have been written for the very VERY young. There should have been a warning on the cover.

SWEETHEART SMILES:
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK. THE DOGS PICTURED ARE SO ADORABLE, DISPLAYING SHEER PLEASURE AS EVIDENCED BY THEIR SMILEY FACES. THE PHOTOGRAPHY IS CRISP AND CLEAR, ACCENTUATING EACH DOG'S SPECIAL FEATURES. THIS BOOK IS SURELY A WINNER AND IS BOUND TO BRING A "SMILE" TO ANYONE'S FACE. GREAT GIFT FOR THE DOG-LOVER.

GONE SMILING:
I absolutely love this book. The photos are sensational, featuring the most adorable,(really) smiling dogs. What a wonderful book to amuse and enlighten any "dog person's" life and home!

Fabulous book!:
This is such a cute book! I bought it because I also have a jack russell terrier, like the one on the cover. I opened it to discover the most adorable tricks to use on my dog. I have already tried several and they all work! Buy it today and you'll have the most fun ever with your own dog.

DOGGONE FUNNY WAYS TO HAVE FUN WITH FIDO:
Doggone it! The American Kennel Club says that the only dog "officially" capable of smiling is the Bearded Collie. Don't tell Jenny Langbehn such a catty remark. In this teeny tome, she offers nearly 100 ways to make Doris and Alma smile ... even if "smile" simply means to be happy. And, oh, what fun you and your four-legged friend will have! Some ways are simple: #1 offers "Lower-Ear Noogies," in which your pooch is gentle massaged with your knuckles. Some are questionable, such as #54: "Bring Your Dog to Work Day." Not a good idea if your boss is a cat person or your co-workers are ... aaaaaalllerrgic! But most ways are simply fun ... and funny. We especially love #32: "The Three Little Bears Routine," in which Langbehn suggests you let your dog find you curled up in her bed! Pat Doyle's photos are simply the cat's meow (there are even model bios!), though we wish there were more shots of the greatest dog in the world, the Great Dane. And a harlequin at that. Four paws up!
