The bengal Cat:
A Must for the New Bengal Owner! I'm not new to owning cats, but I am new to the Bengal breed. This book is very helpful. It goes into detail about the breed and there are specifics that bengal owners should know that are different than other breeds. The only thing I would have liked to have seen in this book, would have been color pictures. I only has black & white drawings...but the information is great!

Handy Reference for the Incredibly Obvious:
This book is not worth having. Apart from trivia facts it does not contain any useful information on the Bengal breed, inasfar as their physiology, behavior, or health is concerned. We've had some diarrhea trouble with our Bengal kitten (F4), and we collected all useful and pertinent information through time-consuming research on the internet. What the book does really well is spell out the incredibly obvious. Did you, for example, know that kittens can be hurt if they fall from high places or get run over by cars? In case these concepts are too involved for you, both scenarios are vividly illustrated with pencil drawings ("Scared kitten on high shelf", "Scared kitten under car tire") The few facts that are specific to Bengals (interest in water) we learned from casual pre-purchase conversations with the breeder. Due to its format, unfortunately, this cannot even serve as coffee-table book. I meant to give page references for the above mentioned drawings, but the book has already disappeared into oblivion. I could not locate it.

A MUST BUY IF YOU WANT TO OWN A BENGAL!:
This book is full of info on everything you could posibly want to know about bengals. I bought it right after I got a bengal kitten and it has helped a LOT! It explains everything from behavior to the eating habits that they can have. I would have made many more mistakes if it hadn't been for this, now I have a happy healthy bengal! BUY THIS BOOK, ITS GREAT!

I was very pleased with this book. My wife and I would like to open a bengal cattery someday, but we had many questions about quality of cats, care, showing, this book answered about everything. It explains things in a simple way that even I can understand it : ) I loved it.

Complete guide for a Bengal cat owner or fanatic!:
This is more of a basic book that goes into Bengal cats in general.There is some detailed information but most of it is what you should look for in this breed and how to care for them.There are no photographs but only black and white drawings so do not expect otherwise. I feel it is an informative guide but more for those who are new to cats and raising them.Great beginners book for Bengal lovers!
