Worth Reading!: Don't let the cover fool you: this "Dummies" series is one of the best I've read. This book is very comprehensive, packed with the required information to help prepare and make successful horse bets. It explains how the horse racing industry works, defines industry terminology, and uncovers certain myths, all in a very simple to understand way. The book can be read again and again, getting more information as the reader gets more familiar with the factors that influence horse racing. If the reader is a casual horse racing player like me (who never won more than a few bucks at a time at the track), applying the knowledge from this book (after a little bit of practice) can dramatically improve the level of play and success.
