I am an hvac technician,and this book was more clearly written and logically written than any book in its field that i have read.(and I have read a lot of books}. It is considered the bible of the hvac industry- highly recommended!

Very good on its purpose:
This book is surely one of the best available for its purpose, that is, to give an introduction to the refrigeration and air conditioning technology, and also to teach how to install, service, and maintain all the hardware associated with this. The text is very well writen, in a very clever language. Graphics are very good, and very helpful to the understanding of topics. Sections dedicated to the electrical and electronic sub-systems were a surprise: they are also very clear, and are very helpful even for experienced technicians. There are even sections dedicated to airflow at conditioned spaces, a matter that isn't very well undestood by technicians. I strongly suggest this book to the people that wants to start working in this technical area, and also to that who already work with it. Very useful to the begginer and to the experienced technician as well.
