Pretty Basic Information:
I was anxiously awaiting the arrival of this book, as I have high expectations of a book from Dr. Stoelting. However, I found that this book contains only basic information. It is good for a quick reference, but if you are looking for in-depth information about a specific topic, you will have to look elsewhere.

Another fantastic book by Dr. Stoelting!:
I must agree with Dr. Alqasaim; this book is excellent. Diagrams are well-done, as are the chapters - en tota. The book has two distinct sections. The first half of the book is dedicated to the subject of pharmachology, and the second, physiology. This is not a large broad-based text. Additionally, this is not a book to take the place of the old basic science "stand-by's" like Goodman & Gilman's, or Guyton. However, this book is highly useful for review in those aforesaid subjects, as related to the practice of Anesthesiology. Absolutely well thought-out and executed. A must-have for your home/office medical library.
