Truly best study guide for JNCIP-M/T: This books make's great thing - In Cert Lab, you will fill like at home. JNCIP exam task will be demanding but not suprising. You find in this book: examples, case studies, tricks$tips and self-test scenarios. If you are able to make self-test in assument time, you probably pass JNCIP without problems. I pass my JNCIP by 1st time, with just one point loss.
Passed JNCIP Lab: I passed my JNCIP lab using this book and have scheduled my JNCIE for August 2004. I highly recommend this book to anyone that supports Juniper routers or plans to take the exam.
Excellent!!: The JNCIP book is a must have on your bookshelf!. The author takes you through almost every possible config senario from EBGP downwards, explaining how to configure and verify all your results. The book reinforces your understanding of all topics in a way unlike those normally dry tech books. I recommend the book wholeheartly for the JNCIP exam but also it is a very pleasant (authors' use of humour is quite novell!) way to increase/strengthen you knowledge of the covered topics, so can be used as a reference tool as well. Next, the JNCIE!!
Excellent book: This book is the best single source of information for preparation for the JNCIP-M lab exam. The book reads easily, configurations given are well explained and with the case studies at the end of each chapter you can test your knowledge and practise. I believe this book helped me to pass the JNCIP-M exam, it also deepened my knowledge about subjects I thought I already knew well.
Excellent Juniper Content: for certification or reference: Harry's JNCIP and JNCIE books won't put you to sleep or remind you of free documentation that is available on the Internet. They cover each JUNOS feature in-depth and apply the features to a "lab network" throughout each chapter. I believe I own every book published with Juniper content and these stand out in my collection. You won't find chapters wasting time with an overview of TCP/IP, the OSI model, or basic IP routing. Buy these books even if you not are taking the lab exams. They will help with the your real world configurations of all the IGPs, BGP, MPLS, VPNs, CoS, IPv6, and multicast protocols. I think they are great for the Cisco engineers that need to get up to speed with Juniper M-series routers. These books belong with the Jeff Doyle books that are already on our bookshelves.
