A great cook, and a great human being:
All of us who knew Cope were delighted by his dry humor and his authentic cooking. His passing leaves a void which none can fill, as he was truly one of a kind. For those of you who didn't know Cope : the recipes are TRULY easy to reproduce at home, and I'm not a particularly experienced chef. Besides, the recipes are authentic, and have little to do with the standard fare you'll encounter in restaurants. Cope learned from ordinary great cooks, and had a knack for passing on the spirit of the dish. Rest in peace, Copeland Marks. I'll always miss you.
