Riding on the coattails of Steinbicker:
If you purchased this book expecting the informative and insightful reviews and tours of other Daytrip books, you will be Disappointed. Did the author only take a virtual tour of these destinations? I am astounded that there are so many errors (including renaming Princes Street in Edinburgh and our monarch as Queen Elisabeth). I have three other Daytrip books by Earl Steinbicker; this book is a poor cousin.

A Great Book to buy if vacationing in Scotland and/or Wales:
This book has everything you need, from photograph's (many other books don't), guided tours, timelines about the Scottish and Welsh heritage, detailed maps, full travel directions (by road, air, bus, train etc.), restaurant and pub suggestions, concise descriptions of places where to visit (museums, walks, distilleries, castles, cathedrals, quaint villages and ports and much, much more).
