Wonderful & Charming Home Journal/Scrapbook:
We were very pleased when we received this book. It has a great "rustic" look and feel, with over 70 pages for pictures, receipts and other memorabilia, plus plenty of room to journal and write comments and funny stories. This combintation journal/scrapbook actually begins before you purchase your new home, with a chapter on searching for your home ("memories of different house we considered, from the strangest to the one that got away") to the inspection ("any surprises?"). My other favorite chapters are entitled, "First Moments" and "Shopping & Wish List". Lastly, this book provides chapters (one for each major room) for home improvement ideas, paint & fabric samples, with spaces for "before and after" photos. My husband was impressed with the book as well, and we decided to buy one as a housewarming gift for our friends. I'm not sure what other home journals look like, but I'm excited about using this book (and our new home!)
