The Wisdom of Alexander is a refreshing look at strategic approaches to the challenges in today's organizations. I read this book as it would apply to school districts, but appreciated the way it causes one to look at problems differently - then tackle them! The book contains very interesting historical information about Alexander the Great, and applies the leadership principles within his actions to the modern workplace. I've recommended it to others already. For anyone tired of the same old, same old about excellence, goal-achievement and problem solving, this book provides applicable principles to anyone interested in taking up the challenge to "conquer their world." Bonus: it was a quick and pleasant read!
