Uninspiring...:
As someone who owns Makeup: The Art of Beauty, I was very excited to learn that Linda Mason had a new book out as I figured it would be a great addition to my make-up "how to" library. I had a chance to check it out in person at a local bookstore and am really glad that I did -- had I purchased it sight unseen, it would have been returned. I completely agree with the first reviewer (and I'm almost twice her age!) that the "looks" in the book are NOT conducive to daily wear, most of them are tacky or just plain blech. It's not that I'm ultra-conservative either, cuz I'm not -- I love colour. I just really didn't find anything particulary inspiring. Sorry to say it, but save your $$. By all means, purchase her first book, but skip this one.
Halloween Eyes:
This says teens and 20 somethings will love this book, well I'm only 21 and I wouldn't be seen wearing my make-up like the pictures in this book unless it was halloween! I returned my book.
