Rudolf Kurz is an amazing artist and very imaginative. I have two of his prints on my walls called Conversation \otwo dinosaurs on a leashes like dogs\c and Women From the Sea \oa women riding a lobster, horse fish thing\c and they are incredible! This book contains many wonders such as dinosaurs that act like cats and dogs, snails with butterfly wings, tiny creatures and people live on branches, rocks look like naked women and many other wonders! Not only do the etchings look amazing but they also got me thinking about the characters and their lives. They are bizarre and darkly humored and have many small things in the background such as bones, seashells, trees that look like animals etc. So if you like art \oespecially Surrealism and Northern European art\c, fantasy, dark humor or just a good read \oit also has several stories buy the artist\c then get this. You will love it!
