[.ca] 101 Ways to Use Your First Sewing Machine (ISBN 089689309X)

Not as basic as the title sounds, lots of great ideas!:
I was worried that this book would be a dud since the title made it sound very basic. Thankfully, I was surprised to find out my assumption was wrong -- there are lots of great ideas in this book! Of course, I should have known since Dubicki also co-wrote "Decorative store: 50 stylish projects to stash your stuff," which is one of my favourite sewing books of all time! Using her directions, I've made the sewing toolbelt and the tissue box cover and they look great! The directions were clear and concise. The directions reminded me more of quilting patterns than sewing patterns since she uses measurements instead of fussy paper templates. Loved that! The projects cover quite a range so there should be at least a few you will like. Highly recommended.
