Dr. Eleanor Kellon has written a concise, well-organized, and comprehensive guide for first aid treatment in emergencies that warrant a call to the veterinarian. She organizes injuries and conditions into major categories such as wounds/bleeding, burns, colic, lameness, heat stoke, head/neck/eyes, shock, foaling/newborns, and drug reactions. This allows the reader to quickly and easily access the pertinent chapters.
