[.ca] The Witches' Goddess (ISBN 0919345913)

good in many important ways...:
While promoting the idea that all goddesses are equal, interchangable and one, this book does manage to fully explore the divine feminine without making excuses for it. This, alone, makes it a valuable work in Witchcraft as a whole. I don't recommend it for the beginner, nor do I think it should be read without some basis in mythology, but I do recommend it for the educated advanced student.

Sadly I must disagree:
Sadly, this book has a number of inaccuracies and is poorly researched. It is obvious that the Ferrars rely to heavily on Robert Graves and his mythological theories, many of which have been debunked by better scholarship. The rituals were bordering on insulting, especially the Greek ones. It is obvious that they have never read a book on greek religion. Additionally, they tend to be very heavy-handed on the opinion, and not as interested in fact as one would expect from the Ferrars. If you want books on myth, please pass this one up.

One of best Books on working with female aspect i have seen:
I personaly like this book alittle better than gods book however the infomation is book is well reseached. I just wished the goddesses was put into cultures which would make book easier on newbies but for a goddess follower this is one best books ya going to find on the great goddess and all her aspects with a dictionary of goddesses in back which was very helpful even for advanced student Blessed Be;

Interesting!:
This book is packed...and i mean truly packed with info. Yes!, it doesnt have all the Goddesses,however, Farrar/Farrar points are on the right track and you get the full idea in what they are talking about. A book i truly recommend to every wiccan/pagan.

A great book on goddesses!:
Where else can you find such detailed information of the different aspects of the goddess? I you want to know your goddess this is the book you need.
