Good all round advice:
Most of the decorating books I have read show you how to transform specific spaces. I like this book because it helps you develop ideas for your own space by helping you define the space and your own taste. Then you are given helpful decorating tips such as color schemes and painting techniques. If you want a book that is an all round reference for decorating your home, this is it. My only beef is that it could go into more detail. It is an easy read.
Very Small Book with Very Big Pictures:
This book was very week in substance I found. It was a whole bunch of "to 10 lists" with beautiful pictures. The downside was that if you had seen any of the \o...\cshows with Nate on it, you had probably seen a good percentage of the book. Now I love Nate...but I have to give this book a low rating. Not enough new material and not enough really usable material.
