[.ca] Inspiration: Your Ultimate Calling (ISBN 1401907253)

Exceptional, inspiring and a must have!:
This is one of the most fascinating and inspiring books I have ever encountered! I haven't read the previous books written by Dyer but it seems that this is his best because it presents all of the most important principles, teachings and guidelines for peaceful, balanced and positive mind set that will allow our core qualities and powers to manifest in our thinking and behavior. I would like to applaud the author for having the courage and determination to write the book from the first page till the last one as he felt it without compromising with anything just to please someone. I think that the greatest piece of wisdom in his book is to become as detached as possible because there are so many things beyond our control that it is a waste of time and efforts to start a doomed fight in attempt to change them. Wayne Dyer will teach you how to live in peace with yourself and the world as a whole. I think that this is especially valuable for people dealing with a lot of stress on a daily basis. I support the author for focusing mostly on inspiring you instead of motivating you. There are plenty of books that teach you step-by-step what and how to do in order to achieve your goals. Actually, inspiration and motivation are the two sides of one coin. "Inspiration" will show you the best and most valuable, and time tested ways to be inspired on a daily basis. On the other side I liked very much the inspiration and motivation throughout Alan Ritz' bestseller "Scientifically guaranteed male multiple orgasms and ultimate sex" as well. I highly recommend both books.

Groundbreaking affirmations.:
Dr. Wayne Dyer wants us to listen up. He insists that there's a voice in the universe calling each of us to remember and live our purpose. In Inspiration, he explains how we can achieve our ultimate purpose by moving through the world of spirit to inspiration. Groundbreaking affirmations. Dr. Dyer has an uncanny, undeniable connection to God, to humanity, to Spirit/Source/All That Is, and he shares with humbleness, generosity if spirit, and graciousness how inspiration is the key to a life that is not just lived, but lived with such deep purpose, that it affects others in the most profound ways. Here is a quote I love from INSPIRATION: "I don't find it necessary to change anyone or anything that I encounter or read about in my daily life. Each time that I'm tempted to, I catch myself and return to a mind-set that calls to me to be more like God, right here and right now. I stay inspired by making an energetic shift within myself; when I do, the world looks completely different, and I move inwardly toward peace and kindness. The energetic shift is merely a way of processing people and events from the insight of being unified with the All-Creating Source-that is, by eschewing judgment and allowing the world to be as it is, rather than as I think it should be." I deeply enjoyed reading this book. There is a pure feeling throughout, a radiating grace, and a humbleness that will touch your heart. It is brilliantly written. Another incredible book in this genre is 'Giorgio Quest' and it's one not to miss.

Beautiful amount of inspiration!!!:
I enjoyed reading this book a lot. It is filled with important principles, teachings and guidelines for peaceful, balanced and positive mindset that will allow our core qualities and powers to manifest in our thinking and behavior. This is a groundbreaking book featuring the very best and most important secrets to self-help. They are discussed together with genuine and passionate examples as well as first class empowerment to reach your full potential. Dr. Dyer helps us to break down walls that separate us from goodness in the universe, and this is extremely valuable.

In the end, you hve to find your OWN inspiration:
I bought this book thinking that it could help me find my own inspiration. I thought that there was this "idea" that would make me see what my inspiration was, or rather, what I was meant to be doing with my life. What I realzied after reading this book is that it's all about finding that silence within, and seeing for yourself what you are meant to be doing. I still do not have this one "thing" that says this is my purpose. Instead, what this book has shown me is a process in getting to that silent space within and finding whatever realization that pops up. Based on this book, I don't think there is such as thing as the all mighty one "thing" that tells you what your purpose in life is. Rather, it seems that the PROCESS that is involved in one's quest to find that all elusive purpose is THE answer--the purpose itself. This book has a number of exercises at the end of each chapter to incorporate the ideas discussed in the chapter. Upon doing the exercises, I have found myself slowly finding realizations about myself which I have never even thougth about before. It's as though the answers that I seek in relation to my issues are being revealed as pieces of a puzzle, bit by bit. I would encourage anyone who is truly desperate to find the meaning of their existence to take a chance on this book. In addition, I would also recommend another powerful book titled: "Everything out of Nothingness" by Jeff R. Hirata. Jeff's book deals with concepts that Dr. Dyer talks about, except that he takes it even further into the realm of existence itself. He unveils why there is such a thing as life and what we are all really doing here, and much much more. When you continue on a path of self discovery, you are bound to reach a point where you would want to know more about life, more about what we are doing here, and how we came to be. Jeff's book addresses all of such questions and more, helping us achieve the ultimate realization about life and the self.

POP psychology at its most self indulgent:
While he is very charismatic, Dr. Dyer is sadly lacking in content and orginality, revealing himself as self-indulgent at best, and narcissistic at worst. Look elsewhere for inspiration or enlightenment; I won't insult you by giving you suggestions...
