Politics is the arch enemy of education.Politics controls the purse strings of teacher salaries and prohibits the classroom teacher from getting the respect they deserve from the general public. Teachers are being forced out of the housing market because their salaries have been gobbled up by inflation.States are becoming so desperate to find qualified teachers who are willing to teach; they have to resort to certifying professions with no educational background to become a "QUICK FIX" TEACHER. We are in deep trouble in this country!
