First book for my 8 month year old daughter:
I was in my local toy store looking for some first time books for my daugher. While I was randomly picking books from the bookshelf I saw this book Mommy Hugs. I sat down with my daughter and flipped through the book. My daughter was instantly attracted to the colourful patterns and illustrations in book. She pulled the book closer and started flipping pages back and forth to examine everything. When I read it to her she giggle as I replicated what the Mommy did in the book. One thing I like about the format of this book is the pages are thick cardboard and cannot be easily ripped by my daughter who is still getting the hang of turning pages. My wife and I enjoyed this book so much we bought Daddy Hugs also. This book is definitely a buy.
