VERIFY THE TRUTH YOURSELF: The Talmud is the written compendium of the oral traditions, the "precepts of men," condemned by Jesus in the Gospels \oMark 7:6-9 and Matthew 15:3-6\c. The pervasive root principle of the Talmud is that non-Jews are non-humans. Critics of this book claim it is a fabrication, but you can verify the facts yourself in the Soncino or Steinsaltz translations of the Talmud. Keep in mind that there are MANY expurgated translations of the Talmud for Gentile consumption, sanitized of the horrifying Talmud doctrines that non-Jews are non-humans, "You are called men, but the Goyim \oGentiles\c are not called men." -Kerituth 6b; "The progeny of the Goyim is like an animal." -Sanhedrin 74b Tosephoth; "All Gentile children are animals." -Yebamoth 98a When challenged, Rabbis will dissemble quoting some sweet Talmudic passages, but the characterization of non-Jews as non-humans pervades the Talmud with baleful moral consequences. Because we are not human, Gentiles are owed no debt of morality or decency - not honesty \oBaba Kamma 113a, explaining the lies protesting the innocence of the Talmud\c, not property \oBaba Mezia 24a\c, not even life! - "The best of the Gentiles should all be killed" -Abhodah Zarah 26b Tosephoth and Minor tractate Soferim 15, 10. Despite recent criticism of the Gospel accounts of the Crucifixion, the Talmud \oSanhedrin 43a\c actually boasts that the Sanhedrin arranged Jesus' death even though the Romans were inclined towards acquittal.(...)
What it says it is: THE TALMUD UNMASKED: THE TALMUD UNMASKED is a very easy and straightforward book to read. It just gives the quotes from the Talmud about Jesus Christ and his followers the Christians--that Jesus was the son of an unclean woman who disobeyed the Rabbis and led Israel to idolatry with his secret Egyptian magic, and that Christians are to be treated as animals, enslaved, and/or exterminated as "sacrifice to God." Like many a true Christian martyr, Father Justin Pranitis suffered DEATH for putting forth the truth.
Good Primer: If you are troubled by what you read in this book, don't blame I. B. Pranaitis. The anti-Christian/Gentile preaching mentioned in this book comes straight from the hearts and minds of Jewish Rabbis. Pranaitis merely brings this PURE HATE to light. This is what "The Chosen" teach their children. In the eyes of "The Chosen" they are racially superior to every race on earth, and should rule over them as a master should over cattle. If you want to read a primer on hate, read these excerpts from the Talmud. If only more Christians/Gentiles knew how "The Chosen" viewed them.
I gave it one star because 0 stars was not an option!: This is the most preposterous book on the Talmud that I have ever read. It is difficult to know which is vaster - the author's unbounded ignorance of the Talmud, or his eagerness to flaunt that ignorance in print. In either case, this book is a product of the same sort of Jew-hatred that has produced such false claims about the Talmud for centuries. I do not expect the inquisitive reader to pour over the entire Talmud to discover what an ungodly liar this Jew-hating author/priest was. But Talmud scholar Gil Student does confront these old canard on a web page devoted solely to debunking these long-in-the-tooth bigoted fairy tales about the Talmud. Such claims are addressed beautifully at http://www.angelfire.com/mt/talmud/ With all the books about the Talmud written by people in a position to actually know what they're talking about, I shudder to imagine the real reason one might turn to this nonsense for learning about the Talmud. P.S. The reason there is nothing negative about Jesus in the Talmud is that there is nothing AT ALL about Jesus in the Talmud.
pathetic antisemitic drivel: How sad; the author has pored over the Talmud, a book which the vast majority of Jews have never opened and about whose contents they are completely ignorant, and after so much labor finds there a message of hatred, which by sheer coincidence mirrors his own; while those Jews who do study the Talmud look up from their studies just long enough to wonder what this outsider is babbling about, then dive back into the depths, completely ignoring the world outside including Christianity.
