Fantastic Read - Great company on a long flight: I purchased this book before leaving on vacation and facing a five hour flight. I was totally engrossed within minutes of takeoff and was barely able to put it down before landing. I enjoyed the characters - their portrayals were so true to life that they reminded me of many of my own older English and Scottish relatives. I tried to figure out the Morse code as I went along - a challenge to my already vacationing brain cells. The use of which reminded me of the elvish used in Tolkien's books. The historical Canadian aspect separates this book from many current books today which all seem to be copying the Da Vinci Code formula. I travelled in the Maritimes with my family as a teenager and remember many of the locations referenced in the text. I look forward eagerly to the next book in this series.
