This book is an excellent effort that the author should be rightfully proud of. It is what we have come to expect of a Greg McDonnell book, and this one is superb. The photo selection and clarity are great, and the inclusion of a variety of angles and a variety of shipboard views make this book very interesting. McDonnell has even included photos of personnel, to show the human side of the business. In addition, there is a list of statistics and timelines of the histories of the ships depicted at the back of the book. I would recommend this to anyone with even a passing interest in Great Lakes ships. This book would make a fine gift this holiday season....
