[.ca] Faux Old Leather Wraps, Saddleworn (ISBN 1551563517)

okay, this isn't leather!:
I ordered this "leather journal" to receive a journal with cardboard binding wrapped in paper printed to look like leather. I guess you get what you pay for, but this is definitely a misleading ad. It just looks cheep.

Good for the cost:
I enjoy Paperblanks brand journals very much. I use journals rather than notebooks or pads for work, so I go through a lot of them, and this is one of my preferred brands. This particular journal is not my favorite of the line, but is very nice. You DO get what you pay for, as a previous reviewer noted. Paper quality is decent and takes a fountain pen very well, I find. However, I must say that the journal is listed as "faux old leather." Faux is clearly not real leather, yes? Just a thought.
