A very cool book:
I have many books on paint effects and this is one of the best I have seen. The photographs and instructions are very clear and some of the finishes I have never seen before. If you are going to buy one book on faux finishes, this should be it.
Complicated:
very inspiring, but many of the techniques shown require oil paint and could be simplify. Very beautilfu pictures but feel free to use your creativity and use latex paint.
