So much yummy, healthy stuff: I can't get enough of this book. The recipes are so unique and delicious. My baby loves star shaped pasta with butternut squash puree, seasoned with sage and parmesan cheese! Mmmmm! So tasty and healthy. The author provides simple recipes from 6 months to 7 years of age, along with family meals that everyone could love. I read a reviews where some parents said that the author suggests "dangerous" foods that aren't age appropriate. I don't see that in this book. She approaches recipes in a responsible way, giving statements about allergies, and holding back certain foods till baby is at the right age. We lso have to remember that the way we give foods differ from culture to culture. I don't have a problem giving my 9 month old papaya because I'm from a country where papaya is a common food given to babies at an early age - and babies are thriving. Don't freak out people! You don't HAVE to give your baby anything you don't feel comfortable with. Use this book as a guideline. Tweak the recipes if you have to. Get this book and keep it around for they picky toddler years and beyond!
