Wonderful book,, good reference for Nat'l boards:
This book is easy to understand and highly informative. I used it as a reference when I studied for the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. It has all sorts of information on massage techniques, which is important of course for the exam. I was recommended the following from a mentor of mine who passed the National Certification Examination with flying colors from the help of the following: The Ultimate Study Guide for the National Certification Examination for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork: Key Review Questions and Answers by Patrick Leonardi Volume 1, Volume 2 and Volume 3 These 3 study guides were so thorough and completely specific for the National Certification Examination. By using these 3 study guides I had no surprise questions on the test that I was not prepared for. I passed the exam with ease with the help of these study guides. Deep Tissue Massage: A Visual Guide to Techniques helped me with the technical portion of massage on the National Certification Examination and will serve as a reference in my future massage practice for years to come.

A must-have handbook!!!:
As a student of deep-tissue massage, I found this manual to be extraordinarily helpful. The concise, well-articulated instruction on proper body mechanics, as well as the detailed anatomical drawings, and clear, illustrative photographs, make this handbook a tool I refer to constantly. I feel this book alone is more useful than many of the classes I have taken, and I am looking forward to the companion videos once they are released. Every massage practitioner will want to own this invaluable, definitive publication.

What a good book to depend on if you are truly in need:
Toss away all dependence on the greedy, evil medical profession. Deep Tissue Massage is more scientifically based than Chiropractic and it does't even require a license. If you have a Homeopathic Dr. who charges too much, this will work just as well and keep you safe and sound. Clean out that medicine cabinet. No more poisons! Thank you for your selfless advice, Art Riggs! Those who call you a quack are just uneducated. I only wish the book had advice on curing specific diseases like Cancer and Heart Disease. I feel it could rebalance the body so that would be possible at least. I am going to try some of it on my dog, who is getting old.

Ignore the pain, it might be worth it:
To be honest, these treatments can hurt A LOT but if you want to try something different and are opposed to taking pills you might as well clench your teeth and see what happens. You can make money with this if you use it professionally and pretty much run things the way you want. Be careful not to harm your customers, though because it can go out of control. I've heard it works for some people.
