red fern grows review: where the red fern grows is a book that will catch the readers eye it has very appealing story line and great plot through out the book it also gives great examples of character. this book is a good book to read in your own pass time because its hard to read many pages at once because of the many descripitive words it uses. this story is about some hunting dogs that fight for there master in order to catch some foxes that are eating his chickens in the doing so one of the dogs gets injured and dies. i thought this book is very good and has very good plot and scene description. this book tells you about what was happening at the time of when this story takes place. i would recomend this book to every one it is a very popular book because it is very well writen.
Tugs at your heartstrings.: This book evokes feelings that you never knew you had and shows the true relationship between human and animal that not many people understand. It takes a special kind of person and a special kind of animal to have a relationship like the one in this book. The most extraordinary book I have ever read. It has remained my favorite since I first read it many years ago in fourth grade.
