I love Italian food and having gone to Biscotti numerous times and experience the wonderful home cooking that Chef Silvia prepares, is a treat in it self. This book is simple and provides some great simple dishes and tips. It's a must buy for the holidays. The book is 1st class as well Chef Silvia herself!

Easy, Humorous and Delicious!:
Loved the easy layout. Was very humourous, especially compared to usually very stiff and dry recipe standards in most cookbooks. Chef Silvia has a very easy to follow style and her light hearted and informational asides give teriffic insight into her innate food knowledge. Had family over for extended get together and college student niece made two dishes from Simply Saute'. We all loved them and the whole family wants the book! I'm telling you this is easy stuff and it really is Delicious!

Different way of looking at Italian food that takes good classic recipes and makes them interesting, unique, and easy to prepare.
