Not quite what the description says...:
Most of the book is *not* about the teacher/student relationship, so if things like that turn you off, you may still enjoy this book. It's a little confusing to follow at first, but if you just read through the first bit anyways it'll make more sense, once you stop expecting it to follow the description on the back. It's sweet, and funny, but not in the typical "sweet and funny" sense, funny bits sometimes sort of come out of nowhere and at times make you wonder if the book is trying to parody itself. Though it carries an 18+ rating, it's still in the "mild yaoi" category, nothing explicit, and not as much UST and angst as many. But certainly enjoyable.
