Good, but not what I'd been looking for:
Luckily my dog does not have cancer, but I hope to prevent it from happening, and had high hopes that Dr. Messonnier's new book would give me great tips. I would have liked to have seen a whole chapter about food, supplements, etc that help prevent cancer, and what has been shown to increase the risk of cancer. This book did not have that. Instead, the book was divided into chapters on the various forms of cancer dogs are most prone to, and various treatment options, including supplements that can prevent or help treat that form of cancer. If I had a dog with cancer, I would not hesitate to consult this book. However, for a guide to preventing cancer in dogs, I would recommend his Natural Health Bible for Dogs and Cats, which has detailed information divided by supplement and condition.
