Excellent reference: I bought this book solely based on the product description. I am extremely impressed with the content, it has step-by-step instructions of how to do pretty much everything. From bee-keeping to butchering pigs, how to dry herbs and recipes to use them in, this book has something for everyone. The biggest problem I have is the physical size of the book, as it is 13x10in, and as it is a softcover, this makes it somewhat awkward to handle. I would probably buy a second copy if I could get it in hardcover.
Lotsa info/a few glitches: This book is for sure a storehouse of wisdom and know-how and a very interesting read, but it doesn't really make an attractive coffee table book and given that it's the size of one, that's a problem. It is very large - a fact I didn't pick up on when I ordered it. Also, take note that it's softcover. There are a lot of typo's throughout and, I believe, some misprints. One of the recipes I made had obviously misprinted the amount of one ingredient and had I not picked up on that, it would have ended up fed to the dog!
