Mediocre marvel at best: I really wanted to like this book but was disappointed with the contents. All the recipes are the same "run of the mill" foods that you'll find in any "Better Homes and Gardens" cookbook. Apple strudel, chocolate layer cake, and brownies (to name a few). They still use white and brown sugar to make the food but the amount of sugar is cut back a bit. Big deal! I do that already! I guess I was expecting more fruit juice sweetened recipes so that I could get away from all the white sugar that fills our products. Regina's guidelines to healthier eating consists of replacing whole milk with fat free, 1% or 2% milk. Replace full fat cream cheese with low fat counterparts and eat your fruits and veggies. Sorry gang, this is old news!!
