This is a must have for pottery artists.: I just let my artist friends see this book. They were all in awe and each found several favorite teapots. I am ordering an extra for the studio as I probably wouldn't see MY book again should I leave it there for inspection. If you have a potter friend who likes to make teapots, this is the book for that friend. 500 Teapots is a straightforward, beautifully photographed and compiled book. All one simply has to do is look at the pictures to become inspired in trying new shapes, textures and glazes in teapot throwing and design. You will not be disappointed.
Amazing: This book is for teapots'lovers what Imagination is for artist. Enjoy it! Good editing, really good photos, paper and size. No dubts about this purchase.
love this book: This book is such an inspiration for potters, I love it.
Beautiful and Imaginative: 500 TEAPPOTS is an wonderful book and is sure to inspire both potters and tea drinkers alike. It is a wonderful companion to 500 BOWLS. I hope they publish ANOTHER 500 TEAPOTS (BOWLS, too).
A Lot of Great Teapots: If you like teapots, you'll love this book. There are some really beautiful pots here beautifully photographed. I was pleased to see that I own pieces by a couple of the potters. My only gripe is that I know potters whose work I would have included. Silvie Granatelli of Virginia, who makes imcomparable teapots, and Chris Simoncelli of Atlanta come to mind, just to name two. I would have preferred that no potter had more than one teapot shown-- there are several who have as many as three-- in order that other equally good potters could have been represented.
