A great book of fundamentals:
A great resource This book is a staple in my design library and my clients like to flip through it for ideas. What I like most are the large high quality photos and the plan view that accompanies each project. It's a book of fundamentals once you look past the dated material choices, you will find a wealth of information. If you're looking to plan a kitchen in great detail all you have to do is study the photos for subtle details. Look at the scale of the post details on page 128 and the proportion of the island on page 189 You will not find many small or plain projects in this book. But if you do Luxury kitchens as I do you need this book if only to illustrate ideas to clients on the fly.
